It’s a question based on personal choice, so if I get any magic pot, I will have to be a bit responsible and not too selfish. I could have wished to become an ultimate superpower or the richest person in the world so, that I can buy whatever I want. And help my family.

The only factor that most people if not all the people work for is happiness. I would ask the magic pot to keep me and my family happy and worry-free. This being intangible feelings may not be able to be provided by the magic pot so I would ask for that much money from it by which I and my family can be happy and worry-free. I know money cannot buy happiness but as happiness cannot be wished for the next best thing will be money.
