Dear Diary,
I am extremely thrilled right now because I worked hard to achieve my goal and because my parents promised to buy me a new phone if I did well in my class 5 yearly exams. And, it's truly incredible that I kept my end of the bargain fairly and made them proud. They help me greatly. I'm grateful that I at least tried to help them and give them something to be proud of. It's not true that I got good grades on my own; rather, it was my parents' support and encouragement above all else that enabled me to succeed.
And I now have my new mobile phone, which I had been waiting so long for. But this event in my life taught me a valuable lesson: achieving success via hard work is far different from achieving our goals without making any effort. From this point forward, I make a commitment to myself to use my own courage to do my absolute best in every endeavor.
