Tryst with Nature

Keats has rightly said 'A thing of a beauty is a joy forever.' My first experience with something real beautiful happened, when I went to the mountains last month in Himachal Pradesh.
It was a unique experience. I did not stay in a hotel. Instead I camped under the open blue sky. My friend was with me. We had carried all the camping gear with us. We had selected a secluded mountain near Dharamshala as our camp site. As we trekked to the top of the mountain, the views from there were purely heavenly.
After pitching our tent, we lighted fire to cook our supper. Soon, it grew dark and we were wonderstruck to see the nocturnal beauty of the sky. We saw infinite stars, galaxies, which remain hidden behind the veil of pollution in the cities. There were a few other campers also enjoying the nature.
As we were enjoying our supper, it began to snow. We got inside the camp and snuggled into our sleeping bags. We had a wonderful sleeping experience. The freshness of nature had a healing effect on our body and mind.
In the morning, we saw the sunrise amidst the snow clad distant peaks of the Dhauladar Range. It was a heavenly camping experience. We did not want to return, but we had to.
