Answer:

A violent cyclone hit India’s southern coast of Tamil Nadu on 29th August, 2014. Winds of up to 240 kph (155 mph) lasting for over 26 hours, caused a 9 metre tidal wave which swept more than 30 km inland and brought massive destruction and death to coastal districts in the State of Tamil Nadu.

More than 10 million people in 12 coastal belt districts were affected by the cyclone. The houses were smashed. The crops were completely destroyed.

There is shortage of food and drinking water. Water all around is polluted badly. The government with the help of military and Red Cross should take steps to provide food and water to the people.

They should also provide mosquito nets at the relief camps to save people from mosquito bites, as they will increase the risk to spread diseases like dengue, malaria etc.

PLEASE MAR THIS THE BRAINLIEST
