Recently, in August I visited Assam for my friend's wedding just after the flood. It was looking like a damaged place. It was so horrible to look at this beautiful place turned into poison. The barrage on the rivers are broken so harshly. Poor people are still experiencing the mini flood as they live near the river. The water always enter their home. They are fleeing for their lives. Although, people come for their rescue whenever the water level rises. But as they don't have any other place to live in they return back their. They always leave their belongings and fled empty hands. The government didn't plan anything for the people living in temporary home near the river
