There is a possible chance that humans can become extinct due to disease or pandemics.

How can a disease cause extinction of humans?

• Although humans have made major advances in science but there are many disease that can arise whose cure would become difficult for the humans to discover.
• There may be a gene manipulation that might cause the entire human population to eradicate.

Thus, we can say that humans have the possibility of being extinct by a certain disease or pandemic.

Some projects that can be launched to avoid human extinction will be:

• Gene manipulation to make humans fight any disease which seem a threat.
• Cloning of the humans that are fitter for survival than others.
• Genetic manipulation of organisms that can be a threat to humans.
