as the man stepped into a more modern world , he had no requirements for long ears and mouth as earlier large ears and mouth would have been used to hear small things and scream loudly in case of danger but as the man became more civilised these adaptations were not need and so vanished.

man's ear and mouth have developed the way they are now because of environmental factor because in earlier time we need those thing but as well as time spend the early man start using them very less and due to evolution these parts start developing
