Dear diary,

today, i heared from a news channel on the television about the worsening conditions of our country due to the second wave of covid pandemic. People are suffering a lot. Some hospitals are also running short of oxygen cylinders and other essentials to save the lives of their pateints. Some states have ordered for complete lockdown to keep people safe. Many hospitals do not have enough beds to cater the needs of new patients. Everyday there are atleast 1 lakh new cases of covid-19 and atleast 2000-3000 deaths due to it. Even though doctors are trying their best and govt. is also working really hard , this pademic is getting worse. Due to this novel corona virus , we have lost millions of people accross the globe. Many countries have started to vaccinate their people, even our country has also started to do so but a lot more needs to be done. We are running short of vaccines, moreover people in remote villages have developed a belief that this novel disease is a curse to them from the god and that if someone will go for vaccination,he/she may die and thus due such orthodox beliefs they arent going for vaccination which is really ridiculous. I believe if we all will cooperate and follow all the

safety measures then this pandemic will be soon over and our normal lives will be restored.

Marvellous
