Heya!

In order to obtain a high yielding variety of tomato the procedure used is called as Micropropagation.

In micro propagation or cell tissue culture we take meristem cells from apix and grow it in the agar agar medium with the intake of some hormones too we do micro propagation.

Micropropagation is the process that ensures retention of the desired characteristics repeatedly in large population.

Micropropagation is the practice of rapidly multiplying stock plant material to produce a large number of progeny plants, using modern plant tissue culture methods. Micropropagation is used to multiply plants such as those that have been genetically modified or bred through conventional plant breeding methods.
