Answers
1) Keeping any big wild animal, like the sloth bears, at home:
In this story “The Bond of Love” we can see that the wife of the narrator decides to have that baby sloth bears which they got by accident. This just shows the love and affection she has for that animal despite considering the fact that it is wild and can be harmful. This clearly shows that keeping big wild animals is not a weirdest thing to do.
2) Keeping unusual pets for pleasure:
This above statement can’t be agreed as she never kept that baby sloth bear for her pleasure but rather cared for it and made sure that it is comfortable and healthy.
3) Using tigers, lions, dancing bears in the circus:
Use of these animals in circus is not fair as it completely affects their freedom. The wife of the narrator also rejected the idea of sending the bear to circus at first.
4) Making the monkeys dance, cockfighting, bullfighting for amusement:
Making a monkey dance and fighting that involves bull for amusements is also considered as an offensive against humanity, this is what the story also has in its moral.
