1. Mahatma Gandhi
He was born on 2nd October , 1869 in Porbandar, Gujarat. His father's name was Karamchand Gandhi and mother name was Putlibai Gandhi. At the age of 13, Mahatma Gandhi was married to Kasturba which is an arranged marriage when Gandhi was 9 years old he went to a local school at Rajkot and studied the basics of arithmetic, history, geography and language At the age of l he went high School n Rajkot . He joined Samaldas college in Bhavnagar in 1868 at Gujarat. In 1915, Gandhi returned to India permanently one joined the Indian National Congress with Gopal Krishna Gokhale as his mentor. Gandhi's first major achievement came in 1917 with the Champaran agitation in Bihar and Kheda agitation of Gujarat in 1918.
