You have read the lesson 'The Snake and the Mirror.' Describe the thoughts of the Homeopath
Answers
Answer:
am going to tell you a story of a homeopath and his encounter with a cobra. The
homeopath had recently set up his medical practice in a village and had a meagre salary. One night,
after work, he had his dinner from a restaurant and returned to his rented room. When he opened
the door he heard a noise. He never cared much about it because it felt like the familiar sounds of
rats running across the beam in the tiled roof. Entering the room which was not electrified, he lit the
kerosene lamp on the table. He changed his dress and made his bed to go to sleep. But it was too hot
and so he went out to get catch some cool air. But it was of no use since there was no wind outside.
He came back into the room and sat on the chair beside the table. He tried reading The
Materia Medica. But, with the mirror in front of him, he was tempted to look into the mirror.
