Dear Sir,
It is with deep regret that I am writing to inform you about my unavailability to attend the proposed small discussion event for "Kindness to Animals". I really want to be a part of the discussion and was looking forward to it but things have turned unexpectedly. I have to go to Mumbai for a medical emergency of my aunt who's admitted in the hospital for her cancer treatment.
I have to go there to help out in the family and also have to be with her at times in the hospital. Due to this issue, I will be unable to come for the event. Added to that, I will be unavailable for anything in Delhi as I will be out of the state for about a month. I also have an exam in the upcoming week in Mumbai which is also another reason for by unavailability. lastly, since my whole family will be going to Mumbai to help out with the family emergency, I can't stay alone at home.
So, as much as I want to be a part of the discussion, I am sorry to inform you that I will have to miss it.
