Yesterday, I attended a World Book Fair. The event was very fun and festive which was attended by a lot of people who were mostly bookworms. I met a group of foreign students happily chitchatting with each other. I talked to one of them and he said that they were from the Philippines. They don't look different from most of us because their color is also brown and their hairs are dark. They wear shirts and jeans, and some of the women are wearing scarf over their head. They seem very friendly and cheerful because they always smile to all the people they meet. I hope to attend next year's World Book Fair.

Answer:

This year during winter, I went to the World Book Fair organised at Milan Mela, Kolkata. A place every book lover is found at that time of the year. It was a very exciting affair to find a huge collection of interesting and rare books in one place. The fair had bookstalls set up by other countries and the books displayed in their counters caught my attention. A lot of foreign students were also there and I ended up having a conversation with some of them. They were very excited to hear about Indian authors and their books. They were students of an international university which was famous for its multi-regional crowd. I enlightened them about Indian culture and life here and they shared about their culture and life. They were well-mannered and friendly. Most importantly, they were open-minded about a lot of things. Some of them wore casual dresses and a few even wore kurtas to respect the Indian culture. I don’t know how long we went about exchanging knowledge and roaming around the stalls but when we realised the fair was going to close for the day, we decided to catch up later. Exchanging our contact details we went our respective ways. I’m happy to have met them and happy to be in touch with them even now.
