Subject: Metro versus the old, slow traffic.
Last week, along with my father, I was in Delhi for my admission in the University of Delhi. We were commuting through auto-rikshaws but the traffic in Delhi, especially at the peak hours, is terrible. So, one day we decided to take on a metro ride to our hotel just to avoid the misuse of long traffic hours. Anyhow, we had hardly ever travelled through metro, so, at first, we were quite slow and were learning. But, as soon were in the train, we knew were smooth and fast. The wide glass windows in the train appealed to us to watch the world outside. There was traffic at most of the places visible from the windows, while the metro was consistently on a move. I felt great that day. And the benefit that instantaneously experienced- just after boarding down from the metro- was that we arrived 30 minutes early than the on-road ride.
