Sub: Plight of animals in zoos.

Dear sir,

Through the columns of your acclaimed newspaper, I would like to draw the kind attention of the concerned authorities towards the plight of zoo animals due to this pandemic. As we all know, corona virus has dramatically influenced the lives of not only people but the animals as well. The people are confined to their homes to prevent the dissemination of the virus. Without visitors, the animals in the zoo have been left deserted and shattered. They are not even being looked after and cared properly due to the panic caused by the disease. Like humans, the animals too need love and affection to survive but this virus has left them too lonely and distressed. Thus, I would urge the concerned authorities to take necessary actions in this regard and ensure proper care of the animals.

Thanking you,

Yours sincerely,

Mayanka.
