Dear Diary:

Today was my first day in the new class. I did not like it. I missed my previous class. All the teachers were new, except the English teacher. The very first day each teacher explained the teaching strategy, the syllabus, and formative 1 assignments and how we, the students shall be doing them. They explained studies from this class onwards will be more difficult than the previous classes. They stressed the point time and again that nothing listed would be tested in the examination. Rote learning will not help us! We will have to understand concepts, and then write the answers in our words. How can such young students as we write our own answers? Up to 8th, we were required to memorize only the listed questions! Even learning them was such a difficult task; now it will be more difficult! I wish my old teachers could teach all the subjects. However, my class teacher was very caring and nice. She told us time and again if we needed any help, she would always be available! I must not form my opinion so early. After all it was my very first day! Surely with time, even 9th class studies will look easy. But one thing is sure I must start devoting more time to self-studies as with each higher class, subjects are going to be more complex.

Dear Diary,

It was a glorious day for me as I have recently taken admission in a new school. It was amazing. In the beginning I was tense but when I met my classmates, I was too happy. I can't express that feeling. It was full of fun and enjoyment. My old school was also too cool but I'm missing my old friends. They all are inside my heart. I will never forget them.

It's better for me to focus on study as I have left my old school for better study.

OK, bye for now. Going to study.

YOUR FRIEND
