Dear shradha,

I hope you are fine. I am also fine . I want to share my experience with an  old age home

It was actually a pleasant experience to visit an old age home and spend some time with the elders present there.

we spent a lot communicating with them, then we played some small games like passing the ball, musical chairs, anthyakshari etc.. and made them entertained. Some of them joined us too in the games. Talking to them and seeing the smile in their faces when they knew that someone visited them, was really heart-warming. On that day we are instructed to talk to them only in a general way but not to ask them about their past as they might be having some bad experiences like their children leaving them there etc..

The only problem I have faced there was that majority of them knew only  kannada and I don't know it as I was new to Karnataka at that time. So I had to talk only to a few who knew Hindi

The we had lunch with them and we distributed the fruits we have bought for them.

So totally it was a wonderful experience and I felt really peaceful that entire day. I wanted to attach some pics of my visit there but unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of it on my phone right now as I didn't back up the pictures of my old phone.

I am your friend Gauri.How are you. I am fine. I would like to share my recent experience. I went to visit a old age home with my classmates as a part of school outreach programme.This is s part of social service activity.We went there is with lot of gifts.We saw many old people living together.They were very old any sick.They want to live with their children but there children put them in old age home. This made me very sad.We spent some time with them and talk many things.
