On the occasion of Grandparent's Day, September 12th, 2020, a football match was organised by the Rotary Club, for senior citizens. The participating teams were Sanjivani Superstars and Sharnam Warriors, while the chief guest was Retd. General P. Misra. Members of both teams were enthusiastic, as their families cheered them on. The highlight of the event was when the match ended in a draw and the oldest players were given the opportunity to take the penalty shootouts. The camaraderie was such that members of each team clapped for their opponents as well. The audience enjoyed every minute of the match. It was a heartwarming experience indeed, to watch the seniors in action. They seemed to be truly living life to its fullest.
