Dispersion of ficus seeds:

This seeds are found in scared fig tree (Ficus religiosa).

This trees are majorly dispersed through its special agent "fig wasps" which seeks this tree for its shelter and food. The wasp move from tree to the old buildings for water or shelter through which the seeds are dispersed.

The fig fruits are eaten by the birds and the fig stem and twigs are consumed by cattle through the excretes of these birds and cattle the seeds are dispersed.

The seeds will stick to the cracks found in the old building through wasps and the excretes of the birds. Through rain fall, the water gets stored in the cracks and the seeds start to germinate. The roots of the ficus seedlings start to search water resource, so its roots grow deep into the building which affects the strength of the building.

Thus, the sprouting of ficus seeds are found in buildings.
