• Weather stations around the world made daily measurement of temperature, rainfall, wind speeds and directions, air pressures and other whether features with various instrument. Rainfall is measured by an instrument called rain gauge. Wind speed is measured by anemometers. The metrological department collects data on various weather elements and prepare a weather report in which all the weather information is plotted on the maps. Using these maps, weather forecasters predict the weather reasonably and accurately which is then transmitted on the radio and television.
