Explanation:   The Indigo revolt (or Nil bidroha) was a peasant movement and subsequent uprising of indigo farmers against the indigo planters that arose in Chaugacha village of Nadia in Bengal in 1859.

Rebellion of 1857 - it was started by sepoy Mangal pandey in Barrackpore

Bahudur Shah Zafar , Rani Laxmibai , Uyyalawada Narasmha Reddy were part of it , the first two incidents happened in Barrackpore and meerut , it was caused because the gun's catridges were made of Pig and Beef Fat and Indian soldiers had to open it with there mouth and use it which was against Indian culture causing a mass rebellion.
