you have two lenses A and B of focal length + 10 cm and minus 10 cm respectively state the nature and power of each lens which of the two lenses will form a virtual image and magnified image of an object placed at 8cm from the lens also draw the ray diagram​

focal length of lens A is +10 cm.

focal length of lens B is -10 cm.

Finding power of lens A

P = 1/F (in m)   then P = 100/F (in cm)

P = 100/+10 = +10 d, and this lens is convex lens.

Finding power of lens B

P = 1/F (in m)   then P= 100/F (in cm)

P = 100/-10 = -10 d, and this lens is concave lens.
