  • Which of these two solutions have higher hydrogen ion concentration

 \huge\bf\underline \purple{ \mathcal{A}nswer...}

  • The pH of Solution A is 6
  • pH of Solution B is 8

Explanation:-

We know that,

▶ On pH scale we can measure pH of Solution from 0 (very acidic) to 14 (very alkaline).

  • If the pH of Solution is less than 7 then the nature of Solution is acidic.

  • ▶ If the pH of Solution is more than 7 then the nature of Solution is basic.

⚘▶ if the Solution have lower pH then the Solution have higher concentration of hydronium ion.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Solution A has pH 6 which is less than 7 so, the Solution is acidic in nature.

And,

Solution B has pH 8 which is more than 7 .So, the Solution is basic in nature.

Hence,

Hydronium ion concentration is more in acidic solution. So, Solution A has higher hydrogen ion concentration.
