I feel very honored and blessed to get a chance to speak in front of you about ' Indian girls making a mark on this field'. Space exploration has a become an very respected field all over the world. Many women have been successful in this field. The study shows that, women astronauts won more achievements than male astronauts did. Women are no less in this field. There used to be a stereotype that this space exploration was meant for men, but women astronauts proved this stereotype wrong and have been making mile stones in this. Valentin Tereshkova was the first women astronaut in to space. Sunita Williams, Kalpana Chawla, were the two great honored women astronauts, they are respected all over the world no matter of which country they come from, we will have to be prestige d , because they come from our mother land, India. Many women can be successful continuing in this field and I am sure, it must be fun living in outer space.
