Dhoula Kuwa : An accident between Car & truck . No loss of life but car damaged . On the Delhi -Jaipur highway near by Delhi on Dhoula kuwaa circle one car hit a heavy truck . car driver injured badly & car damaged while truck hit the road side trees. Early morning due to heavy fog & due on road both vehicle collide head on & damaged . both were in speed limit but due to poor visibility & dense fog they could not see each other timely . Delhi Police & traffic dept. gave a advisory to drive slow & use damper again .No case registered on accident but there was heated argument between both parties .

KOLKATA, 3rd NOVEMBER: This morning around 8.30am at the Birati crossing, in North 24 Parganas, an overloaded truck rammed into a car, a Swift Dezire, causing pandemonium in the area. The truck was coming from the
opposite direction, so thankfully was on the other side of the road divider. Otherwise, the impact of the collision could have been more severe. However, it was overloaded and driving at a speed beyond the laid down limit. The driver has been taken into custody and the police are investigating the matter. It appeared the cause of the accident was break failure of the truck.
The driver of the car sustained head injury and was immediately rushed to a local hospital. The extent of injury is yet to be ascertained. The injury occurred due to the shattering of the windscreen as a result of the collision and pieces of glass hitting him on the face and head. There were two passengers in the rear seat, who are unaffected.
After the accident, local people agitated by blocking the road and demanding that trucks should not be allowed entry into the area during the day. The blockade was lifted after an hour on the arrival of the District Superintendent of Police, who assured the agitators that they would look into the matter.
