Dear Diary,

I am feeling very sad today. For the last couple of years various natural calamities had hit the country. It’s like the apocalypse is getting nearer.  The Kerala flood is one more addition to the series of calamities going on.  

This year’s heavy rainfall has hampered many states. Kerala got the most of it. I feel very pity for those people in Kerala. I wish I could help them somehow.
