Dear Grandfather,
I hope this letter finds you in sound health and vibrant spirits. I wrote this mail to tell you about the spell-bee competition that I have won in an inter-school competition. For this competition, my English teacher used to make me practice for 2 hours daily after school. At home, I used to read the newspaper often and grasp new words from it. Finally, on YouTube, I used to watch such competitions.
And when the final day arrived I performed with all my effort, heart, and soul. There were 20 schools in competition. Each student represented each school. The judges were impressed with the accuracy and speed with which I answered. At last, when the result was announced I was very happy and received thundering applause from all. The judges and my school principal presented me with a certificate and a cash prize.
