I hope you are in the pink of your health. I received your Email yesterday and I was glad that you won the first prize in a singing competition which was held in your school recently.

I'm writing this Email to inform you that I have won the first prize in an International School Extempore Speech. I was very scared about it earlier but I didn't expect to gain the 1st Position in this Competition.This Competition was held as a part of the Golden Jubilee of my School(Name) on 30th December, 2019. Students from various Schools took part in it. The Judges of this Competition were Mr. Rajesh Patel, Mrs. Joyce Dias and Mrs. Verisha Rodrigues. The judgement was based on the length of the Speech, the information it contained, as per the time limit given, the Conclusion and the most important was the Confidence of the Speaker. Initially, I was extremely scared to step onto the Stage and deliver the Speech in front of the judges and the audience but still I managed to deliver my Speech confidently without any hesitation. The judges and the audience were awestrucked and gave a huge round of applause for my performance. I was later declared as the winner of the competition which enlightened my face. The Principal and the teachers of my School and my family members are very proud of me. I also got a trophy and a certificate of participation as an award.

I wanted to thank you(Friend) because it's you who have motivated me all the time and developed a never-giving-up attitude within me. Hope to meet you soon. Give my regards to all at home.
