Dear Resha

I would like to start my letter with a confession. I took your maths assignment notebook by mistake last Wednesday and as a result of which you were reprimanded by the teacher today. I had no idea how did it end up in my bag as I was only crosschecking the answers given to us by the teacher in your notebook as you may recall.  

When I reached home, I emptied my bag and saw your notebook and thought of returning it to you later that day, but you did not attend my call. I forgot about the notebook soon and today on the submission day, I remembered.  

Forgive me if you can for this was my fault and I take the responsibility fully.
