Since there are only 12 trees which need to be planted in six rows of four each, it is clearly evident that the trees can't be planted in parallel rows. Rather, the rows have to intersect each other.

a star shape planting can do it

Arranging 12 articles in six lines with four trees in each lines :

  • Here, according to the given information, we are given that, we have just bought 12 articles. These 12 articles are twelve small trees here.
  • We have to arrange these twelve small trees in lines that are not more than six in number. But, there is a restriction. This restriction is that, we need to have not more than four small trees in each line that has to be drawn for arranging the trees.
  • Now, we can have three straight lines intersecting each other at one single point which may be considered as the centre. It will be a star shaped structure. Each line will have four trees, on each side of the centre.
  • Now, the centre will bisect the lines into six lines carrying the 12 articles or small trees.
