you know that 1/7=0.142857. can you predict what the decimal expansion of 2/7,3/7,4/7,5/7,6/7 are without actually doing the long division ?if so, how?​

Given ,

\frac{1}{7} = 0.142857

To obtain the decimal expansions of \frac{2}{7} , we just need to multiply 2 with the decimal expansion of \frac{1}{7} , giving ,

0.142857 \times 2 =0.285714

Similarly the others can be gound , by multiplying 3 ,4 , 5 , 6 and so on ...
