You know that according to Joule's Law, more heat
will be produced when electric current is increased.
What happens to the fuse wire due to this?​

In the fuse wire when excess current is passed (i.e. A ) then it melts coz it has a capacity to hold off certain amount of x Amperes... and if that crosses , then it melts.
