Let the force applied on be f unit and acceleration produced be a unit

So, we can say that -

f = ka [ here, k is constant]

Now, since we don't know what k is, we can't draw the precise graph of f = ka. However, if we give a certain value of k, then we can draw the graph.

Let us take k = 5

For this we find three of its solutions,

{\sf {\green {\underline{Finding\: Solution\: of \: f\: = \:5a}}}}

Taking f = 0 So,

0 = 5a

=> a = 5×0 = 0

  • First solution => f = 0 and a = 0

Taking f = 2 So,

2 = 5a

=> a = 2×5 = 10

  • Second solution => f = 2 and a = 10

Taking f = 3 So,

3 = 5a

=> a = 3×5 = 15

  • Third solution => f = 3 and a = 15

\huge{\underline{\underline{\sf{\orange{To\ Represent =}}}}}

(0,0) , (2,10), (3,15)

Remarks :- The graph of equation of the form f = 5a is a line which always passes through the origin.
