When A walks a distance of 3km towards North he reached at point B then, takes his left and walks 2km reached at point C.

After that, he again turns left and walks 3km then, reached at point D. At point D he turns to his right and walks for 3km, and reacted at point E.

So, here, A is the starting point and E is the ending point.

AD=BC

∴  AD=2km

⇒  AE=AD+DE=(2+3)km=5km

∴  Required answer is 5km
