Heyyaa!!

Here is the answer to your question!!

Answer

Saturday, 15th February, 10 a.m .

Dear Diary,

Living in an industrial town is definitely advantageous but there are a number of disadvantages associated with it. Durgapur is a steel city. It is often referred to as the 'Ruhr of India'. It is bustling with industries.

These industries are immense sources of pollution. They spread pollution drastically.  To begin with the steel plant of Durgapur along with the sponge iron factories emit a number of toxic gases polluting the air.

The factories make a massive amount of grinding sounds creating noise pollution.  The industries dump their waste into the waters of Damodar spreading water pollution.

They also dump their unused materials and waste in soil causing soil pollution.  Everyone in Durgapur suffers from breathing problems.

Thus the city is extremely polluted and this is not for Durgapur only. All industrial cities are similarly polluted. So my dear life is not a bed of roses in industrial cities.

Am really tired out. Will write again tomorrow.

Till then bye.

Yours always

XYZ

Hope it helps you!!

Explanation:

The National Capital Territory of India, Delhi, is a metropolitan city that’s famous for not one but many things; from being a hub of career opportunities to its monumental beauty to the central government institutions.

However, according to the survey, the city ranks number 1 for one more reason, which is definitely not a pleasant one.
