This is a famous quote from Harry Potter which basically revolved around how Harry could use the Room of Requirement for his purpose.

However, this quote is something that all of us could actually use in life. Basically, the quote says that some things are evident to you and yourself alone. If you have to ask them from others then you would never understand the truth behind it.

For example: Only you can know what you want to do in life. You can't go up to your friends and family and be all like “Hey, now that I have graduated school, what should I take?” Or “ I don't like my job. Should I switch or pursue something else?”

All these questions can only be answered by you, you have to be willing enough to introspect a little. Once you know what it is that you want in your life then it becomes easier to plan. You can then ask others to help you out in achieving your goal but the goal needs to be clear and only you have the ability to do that.

So, decide what it is that you desire and then ask help to accomplish it.
