If I could be like anybody, I would wish to become more like my late grandfather, whose memories have inspired me to strive for success, like the smell of old, dusty books which reminds me of his admiration on learning. An avid collector, he had many books, most of which went unread. He owned books on everything from medicine to Spain, to several sets of encyclopedias. After he faced health problems, he came less to the library and read fewer books. They became just part of the scenery, collecting only dust and memories. I have read a few now, after he is gone, and each time it brings back a hurt like a sore that refuses to heal. But I suppose it is a quest of sorts, because if can take on his thirst

I love my grandfather very much. He is a very kind and lovable person.

He helps the poor and needy without a second though. Though he is old, he us very active and energetic. According to me, He is a living example for the young generation glued to their couches to watch TV. He helps my mom in the kitchen, me in doing my assignments and homework and also takes care of my 2 year old brother.

He drops me at school and picks me up from school at the right time without a delay. He buys me whatever I ask for but gives a thought whether it is a much required thing that I am asking for.

At night, he puts me into sleep with his interesting stories. At times of being upset, he energises me with much of motivation and moral support.

At times of exams, he spends long nights with me , clearing my doubts or helping me solve problems or just sitting with you to make you feel comfortable and not lonely is great which is what he does. He points out at my mistakes and what not!? He stays with me all the time. Thus he proves to be an ideal grandfather, taking care of his grandson all the time.

He is the best grandpa in the world!
