Sometimes two eggs are fertilised by same sperms which results in the formation of 2 zygote.
And from these 2 zygotes - 2 individuals or offspring will be formed.
Normally one sperm(male gamete) fuses with only one egg(female gamete) and it results in formation of only one zygote (which later turns into offspring).
