you may see Kittanara, a xeric plant grow as fence around crop field in some areas in our state actually this place are not desert how can they grow there?

You can see earth has undergone lot of changes as well as plants and organisms too.
every plant in different habitat has it's own adaptation. As per rule in deserts only xerophytes can exist but don't we see even one or two hydrophytes near small lakes? Likewise we find xerophytes with long network of roots in mesophytic habitats ,but with xerophyti adaptation. May be that place once had been xerophytic due to disasters
