You may see kittanara,a xeric plant ,grown as fence around crop field in some areas in our stata. Actually those places are not desert. How can they grow there?

in deserts there is a scarcity of water. so the plants that survive there do not require high amount of water. similarly when these crops are grown as fence around the crop field they grow up by consuming less amount of water.

● Though kittanara is a zero fighting plant and is grown only in desert conditions we observe them also in mesophytic habitat due to the adaptation towards the habitat.

● In the process of evolution all living organism undergoes adaptation process for the changes that happens in the climate and strive for living in that conditions.

● In the similar way Kittanara plant also get Habitad to the mesophytic conditions.
