You might have observed that ‘danger’ signal lights are red in colour. Do you know why?

the red light is least scattered by the particles of smoke and fog due to its longer wavelength.therefore, red light can be seen distinctly at a distance.

The red is least scattered by fog or smoke. Therefore, it can be seen in the same colour at a distance. Hence we will be aware of the danger even in such consequences.
