You notice that one of your tires seems a little flat one morning, and decide to fill it with air at a gas station. By the time you get to the gas station it looks fine, and the pressure is normal. Explain what has happened to the air in the tire?

This is what had happened to the air in the tore in the morning:

  • According to Layman, When the temperature decreases, condensation of air takes place and the air takes up less space.
  • In the morning, the temperature is low which condenses the air. Due to it, the air in the tire takes up less space, and the pressure is also decreased. So the tire looked flat in the morning.
