1) out of the many problems faced by India, poverty ranks first. So,maybe those books can be given away to the next batch of students on half rate or for free if you have a big heart :) problems such as wastage of paper can occur. This will lead to increased felling of trees and ultimately global warming is caused. 2) I am a miser,so I would either be shocked or sad. Since,my friends are such numb heads,it would be a melancholy reaction. 3) other students too should feel disgusted at this approach of throwing away books. Or a surprised feel can also be experienced. 4) the teachers and school staff must take appropriate measures like collecting these books at the end of every year and giving it to the needed ones without causing publicity. Also, some of the books provide helpful for future use. So,they must be kept with the students itself. 5) I would do my part by educating the masses about the current situation. I would create sympathy and they would budge in. 6) awareness can be spread by the use of social media, lecturing,or maybe holding a debate about such things. 7) my partner can give in his/her fullest support to remove such happenings at school( throwing books away). 8) I can take charge and supervise externally by looking into such matters and holding discussion with the help of a mentor. As a concerned citizen,i would do whatever it takes to bring down the number of books thrown away. 9) posters, educational minister, government can lend a hand to do so. Cheers!
