In this case, it can be concluded that the student who slipped the math reference book should have unknowingly done the thing. In case if he did the thing knowingly, then I would talk to him and ask him to tell the reason why he did that. I would also try to may him realize that doing such things are the very wrong thing to do. Such things built a very negative impact on the personality of the student and also other people start to think negative about him.
