Given : You own 22 CDs. You want to randomly arrange 9 of them in a CD rack.

To Find  :  The probability that the CDs are in alphabetical order  

Solution :

Assumption :  All CDs are of different alphabet

9 CDs can be arranges in 9!  ways

and there is only one way that CDs are in  alphabetical order

Hence  The probability that the CDs are in alphabetical order  = 1/9!

= 1/3,62,880
