Studies show that if your child’s father is affectionate, supportive, and involved, he can contribute greatly to your child’s cognitive, language, and social development, as well as academic achievement, a strong inner core resource, sense of well-being, good self-esteem, not only the father have responsibilities but every member of the family has a unique role to play in the family unit. In every family these roles are different. A role an aunt may play is that of helping the parent getting along with their children. Much like the grandparents, an aunt is not subjectively involved in what happens in the family. She often able to see things in a more objective ways. She also maybe able to build relationship with her nieces and nephews and give them a place to get away from the family for a while. An aunt that is committed to her nieces and nephews can play invaluable part in their lives. Grandparents has a totally different and important role to play. Before time grandmother used to tell stories and sing songs to their grandchildren, but now they are watching television leaving their grandchildren aside

Generation gap is a gapping between the current generation childrens and their parents or grandparents. There are conflicts in their thinking. The thinking is totally different from each other and that's what something which makes a difference.

Generation gap can be sometime bad for the two people living in the same house. There views won't match which will cause problems. The thing which will be right to one generation will be totally wrong for the other one.

This thing somewhat affects the relationship between them. So we should atleast try to make things better for the two generation and try to solve the problems. They should try to understand each other and respect each other's thinking.
