Answer:

Diary Entry

Explanation:

Dear Diary,

Today I met a blind man.He was sitting on stairs of our college liberary.

He asked me to get a book issued. He told me the author name and other details.I got the book issued from the Liberary.

He told me that he was a Psychology professor in our college a few years ago,but due to a road accident,he lost both his eyes. Now he works on social media and with help of his son, he makes videos on Psychology concepts.

He wanted to do a few case studies therefore he came to get the book but was unable to climb up the stairs. He asked me to study a few cases.I read him some case studies. He thanked me a lot.He informed me a lot about the psychology subject.

He was waiting for his son to come. His son came and they both went away. But now I was thinking that what a real life hero the blind man was.

What inspired me was that he had a  passion for teaching. Now that he is unable to do a regular job, then he is making videos to teach students and spread the knowledge to the world.

Its so great to have a son who supports you with your dream.

These are the real life heroes and role models and not the cricketers and movie actors.

Gudnight dear Diary

Today I am very much happy. After long time (many years) I have seen someone who came to me for reading book. Yes it was Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay's Chander Pahar (Mountain of the Moon). I asked him why do you want this book when you are a blind and where did you got my address and also from where are you coming?

He was silent for few seconds and replied I can't read I know that but my little son can do it for me, he is thirteen years old. I am poor and handicapped, I can't buy books, though I can collect for me and my son, that's why I have come to you from Bahirchak following the instruction of a teacher, according to him he is your friend. The blind man show me a card it was Nandalal Santuya. He again said, "I never want my son just like me, only book can fulfill my wish".

I give him immediately and said I will wait for the book, and add also if you find me helpful you can come again."Sure, very soon", he said gently. I was impressed and inspired by his manners.
