Dear Diary,

I am very happy glad to share my experience today about the Craft mela which I had visited this Sunday. Me and my family had went to Ujjain previous week and we were lucky enough because the Craft mela was being organised that week.

I am very fond of craft, especially traditional craft as it supports our Indian craftsmen and also helps in the growth of our economy or GDP. Besides, they are irresistible, as they are so full of art and are too beautiful.

When we had entered that mela, I just wished to buy everything over there, but, couldn't because of our budget. I purchased some paintings for my bedroom to decorate. And mother also purchased one carpet, for our drawing room. I enjoyed there too much. I hope I go there soon so that I can buy many more things. But for now, I take leave of you as it's time for my bed.

Dear diary ,

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤThe crafts Mela at Suraj Kund was much more impressive and grand than what I had imagined . This year , the ' Theme State ' was Rajasthan .The whole campus was painted with the visuals of Ranthambore ,Chïttor , Jodhpur and Jaisalmer .It was mini India assembled on a few hundred acres of land.All the awarded artisans from different states had set up their workshops and stalls there . Bangles , wall -hangings , jewelry for decoration , shoes , purses , sarees , garments and cosmetics found thousands of buyers. Every evening there was a cultural show . The 'food court' provided all kinds of delicacies for food lovërs . Basically it was India in all its colours , tastes and sounds scattered on the Aravalli hills.
