Dear Diksha,

Hope this letter of mine finds you in the best of health and spirit. First of all, I'd like to tell you about the first and greatest experience, while trekking from Haridwar to the Pindari glacier. This route I've specfically chosen that because it has many trekking routes but it is not as glamorous as the more well-known Nepali treks like the Annapurna circuit or Everest base camp which have far fewer trekkers. Although from the starting point of the journey on the first day, i've traveled uphill to Loharkhet which their first 5 km was pretty much tiring, it was exciting and full of enjoyment and then the trail was eased 1 km before Dhakuri.

After getting some ample rest after hours of tiring but exciting trekkings, I further traveled far within meandering trails up to 4km and after that, we've comfortably taken some good tea at a tea shop while seeing some breathtaking visuals of both valleys, grasslands, and snow-clad mountains.

On this third day, we celebrated Diwali at Khati and also moved towards Phurkiya which was definitely a tough journey but after a week of struggling with this exciting trekking journey, we finally reached the pindari glacier. So, basically, this trek is only located in the Kumaon Himalayan region of Uttaranchal, India, which covers 94 kilometers (58 miles) of steep and spectacular terrain. In terms of distance, terrain, and altitude, this was pretty manageable, rising to around 3600 meters (11,811 feet) at its highest point. So, we've finally traveled through spectacular Himalayan mountain sceneries, skirting the edge of the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve, with breathtaking views of Nanda Devi and Nanda Kot thus, after so much of exciting journies full of challenges, we also went back from Pindari to Haridwar.

Now, That's it, no more today. More I'll share when we shall meet each other. Convey my regards to Uncle and Aunty.

Yours lovingly

Rashmi
